Vita Ricardo Niklas Werner, MD

Ricardo trained as a Dermatologist, Venereologist and Proctologist at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Ärztezentrum Nollendorfplatz, an office-based dermato-venereological specialty practice in Berlin. In addition to his clinical work as a consultant at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergy, he is a Research Fellow at the Charité’s Division of Evidence-Based Medicine (dEBM). His clinical expertise and research interests are general dermatology and sexually transmitted infections, with a focus on HPV-associated anogenital lesions, the epidemiology of STIs, and HIV prevention and health services research. He is an expert in designing and conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses and clinical practice guidelines, following methods recommended by Cochrane and the Grades of Recommendation, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) Working Group.
